In 1995 several families who drove out of town for Sunday morning services began meeting during the middle of the week for Bible Studies and fellowship. Patterson was a town of about 6000 and did not have a non-denominational church. Members from the Bible study approached the Northern Californian Evangelistic Association (now called Stadia: New Church Strategies) and began the process of incorporating and planting Patterson Christian Fellowship. Initially PCF met in the homes of several members but quickly ran out of space and rented the Patterson Senior Center for a year. The Senior Center worked for another year but as our congregation grew we needed still a larger facility and were blessed to be able to meet in the fellowship hall of Our Saviour’s Lutheran church (OSL). Although completely different in styles and approach, PCF and OSL enjoyed the blessing of working with each other for the sake of the gospel on a variety of ministries. OSL is a very loving and generous congregation and PCF continues to thank God for their cooperation and obedience to the gospel. PCF has recently began meeting in the gymnasium of Creekside Middle School..
